At Chang Lee's Taekwondo in Batavia, IL, we understand that every student's journey is different. That's why we offer customized Taekwondo classes and programs designed to meet individual goals — whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced martial artist. We've proudly served families across Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, and North Aurora with training that builds strong bodies and even stronger minds.
Our school is led by Grand Master Chang Lee, an 8th Degree Black Belt born in Seoul, South Korea, who began his Taekwondo training at the age of four. He earned his Master's degree in Physical Education and Taekwondo from the Korean National University, established his own school in Seoul in 1996, and trained with the renowned Korean Eagle Demo Team. With over 50 years of martial arts experience and more than 40 years of teaching, Grand Master Lee has dedicated his life to the art — and today serves as a Commissioner of USA Taekwondo and President of USAT Illinois State.
At Chang Lee's Taekwondo, we believe in making a difference. Our mission is to strengthen the community while helping individuals build confidence, achieve their goals, and embrace a healthy lifestyle through martial arts. Under the values of courtesy, perseverance, and integrity, every student is encouraged to grow, succeed, and discover the true meaning of our motto: “Kicking, Punching, and the Way of Life.”
